Prophetic Prayer
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Matthew 6:9b, 10
Praying the will of the Father is prophetic prayer. Our Lord Jesus taught us to pray; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. His words will always work. First you must know what to pray before you can expect to see positive results. Oh, you may ask whatever you so desire; however, be warned you may get just what you have asked. How many times have you begged God for something, received it, and then later wish you could get rid of it? To receive the desires of our heart is not always a good thing. I have found it much more beneficial for me and my life to pray whatever He says I have need of. Giving total control of your life to Christ always makes for a better life.
