When a bunch of hairy-legged men get together anything can happen, and usually does. In this months DVD you can witness the power of prophetic evangelism. It was the goal of the men’s ministry to bring in all of our lost friends and family for a prophetic meeting. Feeding the bunch huge steaks, listening to good music and personal prophecy was the focus. It was easy to tell that a few of the guys were not church going people. Some scruffy, others cowboys and the rest just good-ole boys.
Not only did we all eat well and sing off key a few of the testimonies where the icing on the cake, so to speak. My personal testimony revealed a lot more than I would normally tell. From when I was a child hearing God’s voice to my wilderness experience exposed what shaped me into who I am today. The meeting was very long and only two hours of video footage could be placed on the DVD. However, if you can view the entire DVD you will surely be blessed. Many of these men came back to the church for counseling and more eat’n-meet’ens. A few of the lost came to me after the meeting for prayer with a desire to be set-free from their addictions. The scripture in first Corinthians 14:24&25 really works when the lost are present in a prophecy meeting.
But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uniformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is judged by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
This type of meeting could be just what your church or ministry could use to win the lost soul’s of this hectic world to Christ Jesus.
