The legalistic protocol of the charismatic movement demanded righteous living and destroyed the greatest movement of this past century. Our righteousness is as filthy as rags. (ref. Isaiah 64:6)
In the beginning of the charismatic movement there was a great freedom given to the Holy Spirit to move within the world. However, over time man decided that he needed to take control of the people and make certain restraints. The requirements became so stringent that you were not welcomed into the church unless you were already saved and delivered. Whether it be bad habits or just uninformed about Christian ways you were not welcomed until you were perfect. This mind set stopped the charismatic movement within the church. So, the Holy Spirit birth a vision in a man, Demos Shakarian, to start the next great movement. Finding freedom outside the church the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit were loosed in the business community. The formation of the Full Gospel Business Men and Women’s Aglow became the catalyst for the Holy Spirit to increase the Kingdom of God. For a long period of time this movement was highly successful and many were saved, healed, delivered and baptized in the Holy Spirit. However to the dismay of many, it soon became a part of Christian history.
This months DVD will open your eyes unveiling the reason why so many revivals and powerful moves of God have been quenched. The letter of the law kills (ref. 2 Corinthians 3:6) but the Spirit gives life. The one thing people today are searching for is a life controlled by the Holy Spirit.
