Worship In Truth
Worship is not merely about singing songs to God; it is much more than that. How you worship God will determine how you live this life and determine the depth of your faith in Him.
Many people worship the writings of other people’s knowledge about God or how they perceive God. Then there are those who worship God through their personal experiences that He has taken them through. Whether they are challenging events in their life or blessings; they worship God because of their experiences. A person who worships their knowledge of God is forever changing his belief in who God is. On the other hand, those who serve and believe in God because of their experience with Him have an unshakable faith in Him.
Recently, the writings of The Da Vinci Code has shaken the faith of the knowledge worshipers. The perception of who God is in this writing have caused many to doubt in God. I can only say, that if someone can discredit my belief in God through their knowledge then I never believed in the first place. One thing I know for sure, someone who has knowledge cannot talk others out of their experience. In other words, experience speaks much louder than knowledge. If you have a personal relationship with God, who is Spirit, then no one can ever say anything that could discredit His existence. To live and walk in the Spirit one must first die to themselves and allow Christ to live within them. This includes our mind, thoughts, self will and emotions to die in order to live by the leading of His Spirit. In this pattern of Christianity no one can ever talk you out of worshipping and serving the one only living God. For He is who He is and will do whatever He pleases, for He is GOD; no matter what they may say.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24
