This DVD on Greed is delivered with a bit of humor; however, the severity of the message needs to be taken very serious. The message on Greedy Monkeys is a three part series to be distributed over three months. Each DVD takes on a different approach for dealing with Greed and how its effect can hurt you spiritually and financially.
Greed runs deep in our country and can be found alive and well in the hearts of the rich as well as the poor. Our Lord has for the past two years been saying, “it’s all about the money”. To be honest I was not real sure what He meant by these words. First I began to judge myself to see if this might be a word of rebuke for me. As time went on I realized this word is for everyone. From the heads of State to the poorest of the poor greed is doing it’s damage. Just recently our government was going to sell off 13 major ports to a foreign company. People got up in arms over such thinking. So, our government put it off for six months to look for a U.S. buyer. Six months came and went; can you guess who the new owners are? The same foreign company, and no one made a sound. Now in Texas, our governor has a deal he is pushing to sell 4,000 miles of State highways to a foreign investment group. The funds collected will go into a re-election campaign account; what is wrong with this? The list goes on and on. You need to be aware of what greed is doing to our country, because you and your family will be effected and soon.
