Who Touched Me?

And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. (Matthew 9:20-22)
Notice what the woman said. “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” This knowing within herself was a Word from God. This thought (Word) came to her by faith. Her trust in doing what the Word required made her well. We do not know whether the woman had been praying or not; however, we do know that she had received divine instruction. We refer to this method of hearing God as “Knowing in your knower.”
Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediate-ly knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ (Mark 5:29-31)
In the gospel according to Mark we see that Jesus experienced the healing power leaving Him and going into the woman. This is why Jesus said; …your faith has made you well. Because she had received the gift of faith by the divine thought that came to her knowing that if she touched His garment she would be made well. From this point on many others were healed by simply touching His garments.
And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. (Matthew 14:35,36)
