But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9,10

Our children’s generation will be called the Generation of Truth. Honor bound, they will do all they can to rid the world of its lies and deception, for they have seen its destruction. They will turn society back to the raw basics of what is right and just.

For example this Christmas during our family meeting we decided that since Savannah is now 15 years old we do not need to go all out decorating the house as we have always done before. So, Savannah came up with this idea that we now have adopted as our décor for Christmas. We purchased a manger scene with the wise men, Joseph, Mary, the animals and of course our Savior baby Jesus. We’ll place it on our fireplace mantel and all the Christmas gifts will go under the menagerie instead of the old tree. We are blessed to hear His voice through the months of babes. Maybe if we get Christmas right the rest of the world will know what Christmas is all about as well.
