Seeking HIS Kingdom

Many of us are searching for answers during these difficult days. Not knowing what the smart thing is to do we tend to do nothing. However, there is something you can do that will change difficult times into successful testimonies.

Recently, the Lord brought back to my remembrance an experience I had with Him. Some years back I had to work construction jobs while building this ministry; however, I was faithful to rise early and pray each day before work. Visiting the Church each morning before the sun rose I was able to spend 1 to 2 hours praying. Most of my prayers were about my finances. It was not too long before I had so much business that I started going to work earlier each day until I had no time to pray. Before I knew what was going on I started running into all kinds of problems on the job. Working harder and making less, my finances began to vanish.

It was about 4 in the morning when my pager went off. I looked at the number and it was the phone number to the church. So I jumped up got dressed and drove to the Church expecting to find the building damaged in some way. When I arrived no one was there. I checked the door and it was locked. Curious I unlocked the door and went in checking out each room. As soon as I entered the sanctuary God spoke, “Now that I have your attention.” Scared and excited at the same time I began to repent for standing Him up for the past month while thinking that my job was more important than spending time seeking Him. Since then I have tried to keep my priorities in prospective, for He is my source not my job. (more in this months DVD)
