The Unforgivable Sin

This message is a fresh revelation to those who do not know what Sin can be committed that even Jesus will not forgive.

Recorded at My Brother's Keeper in Cleburne, Texas, a ministry under the oversight of Vinelife Fellowship, Pastor Mike Pascal and Ronnie Peacock, not only is the message shocking to many, it also breathes a prophetic message warning us of the effects of committing this abominable sin. What does this mean, and am I guilty of being one who has committed this abdominal sin?

The unforgivable sin is sometimes referred to as blaspheming the Lord, but it is not the same thing as using Christ’s name in vain. Far too often we hear people curse using His name, but this is not the unforgivable sin.

“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. Matthew 12:31,32

In the Old Testament we discover that God the Father desired to be King over His people; however, the people rejected Him wanting a man over them instead. Studying the New Testament we see God sent His Son to become the King of the Jews, but they had Him crucified. This leaves us living in the final testament, the Testament of the Holy Spirit and there is no forgiveness for rejecting the Holy Spirit. We are living in the most important of all times, witnessing God’s ultimate plan for all mankind. Today there are many who reject the Holy Spirit and His gifts. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit; do not reject or deny Him, for this is the ultimate sin. (ref. Eph. 4:30)
