When God’s will is working in your life, nothing can stop you. When you are walking in his destiny, nothing can stop you. That is the place we should all be yearning for but we must first seek him and his word and his direction in order to have his blessing. It is difficult for people to comprehend the gifts of the Spirit. There has been so much teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. People want to see people healed, set free and to have the gift of faith working in their life so strong that it would give them the ability to overcome the obstacles in their path It is a hard place to be in this life. This is not the life we are living for, it is for the one to come. Do not take this life too seriously because it will past like a blink of an eye. It is what you do in this life that will determine where you live in eternity.

In the midst of God’s will, you will find yourself walking in a place of serenity and comfort that will give you the peace you so need. There are many people who needs peace today because they are overwhelmed with the economy or the war on terrorism or the disease SARS. There are many things that can burden you but be reassured that if you are doing what God wants you to do, nothing else will matter. You should not be concerned with the matters of this life. Do not mediate upon this life to the point where you are stressed by it because this life is a short period of time compared to eternity. We are seeking the gift of the Spirit working through us.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12

Jesus is speaking about signs and wonders, miracles and the supernatural. Jesus did not lie to us for we will do greater works. For one thing, there are more of us. We all have a portion of the Holy Spirit in us. The Holy Spirit was in Jesus without measure so he had it all. Jesus has ascended sitting on the right hand of the Father making intercession for us, dispatching his angels to do what they are called to do. We have a responsible to find out what his will is in our lives. We need to be in a place where we are hungry to have God use us no matter what it is.

Jonah by today’s category would be called a false prophet because he was called by God to proclaim to the people of Nineveh that they would be destroyed. Jonah resisted God’s will to carry the message but in the end God had His way. Jonah delivered the message and the King of Nineveh declared a fast. When they fasted God relented and did not destroy Nineveh. God changed His mind. Is that fair? He is God. He can do whatever He desires. Jonah took an offense to this and sulked. God asked Jonah if he was upset with him because he did not killed 120,000 people so that Jonah could be right. God is not a respecter of person. He doesn’t care about your reputation. As long as His will is done, He will use you. It is like being used as God’s fish bait. It stinks. Nobody likes to be put in that position but to be used of God is not always a glorious thing. To be used of God sometime will put you between a rock and a hard spot. If you want to be used by God, you must die to yourself. Let Him do whatever He so wills because we were purchased by His blood. We do not own ourselves. We have given this life to Him in exchange for life eternal. That is the deal. We cannot forget this. Every time we try to take this life back, we end up counting those ribs in the belly of the big fish. Every time we give it back to Him, things starts to work again. No matter what the circumstances or the problem, challenge or pain, if you give it onto Him and cast your care upon him, he will give you whatever is needed to deal with it. God has purchased every one of us. We are bought and paid for. It is not our life. If you want to keep your life for yourself, then you cannot live for Christ. You cannot be used by Christ. You cannot be used in the supernatural.
