In was in 1976 and I was 25 years of age when I began seeking God, asking what He wanted to do with my life. Each time I prayed the verse of Scriptures that kept coming to my mind was from Ezekiel 33:30-33.
“As for you, son of man, the children of your people are talking about you beside the walls and in the doors of the houses; and they speak to one another, everyone saying to his brother, ‘Please come and hear what the word is that comes from the LORD.’ So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them. And when this comes to pass-surely it will come-then they will know that a prophet has been among them.”
Ezekiel 33:30-33

At the time I had not been baptized in the Holy Spirit and the denomination I was affiliated with did not believe in prophets for today. In fact I had no idea what a prophet was; however, what I did know from reading the Old Testament they were not very popular. For the next ten years I was confronted with this calling but I did not want to go that way. Each time the calling came I would see myself leaning over a pulpit wearing an old moth eaten sport coat speaking some dry word. Being a banker was much more honorable in the eyes of the world than sounding like some crazy person calling themselves a prophet. I learned that it does not always matter what you want, if you ask God for a Word and then reject His Word He will see that His Word is fulfilled anyway. One way or another His Word will come to pass either the hard way or the easy way you have the choice. Unfortunately, I learned this lesson, like so many others, the hard way.

Ten years later I surrendered to the calling thinking that I would just automatically find my way into the ministry. Oh no, I learned another lesson and it is this, the longer you reject doing what God has called you to do will determine the length of time before He will allow you to begin living out the blessing of His Word.

The lesson I pray you learn from this message can be summoned up by this one verse of Scripture.

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

Things You Need To Know About His Word

What is a “word”?

A word from God is a message from God to you. It can come directly to you as you are reading scripture or in a dream or an impression. If you are receiving a word from a prophet, the prophet will seek to hear God on your behalf. He or she is gifted by God and trained by God and others the Lord picks to know how to quiet his spirit and receive impressions, visions, direct words, scriptures, and to interpret them so that you might be encouraged.

How does a person get to be a prophet?

They are chosen and gifted by God. God told Jeremiah that he was chosen before he was born. The prophet feels a call to dedicate his life and energy to hearing God and speaking on His behalf. He is drafted, more or less. He may resist like Jonah, or have a rough go of it, like Jeremiah, but once he discovers that he is fulfilled in his destiny by pursuing God and living out his life in communication with Him and doing what God has called him to do, he is happiest serving God.

I have been praying about it since I received the prophecy, and I feel like God gave me the “green light”. All I had to do was speak whatever He was saying from heaven and His angels would have to go do His word. The Angelic hosts of God have been commanded to do His will on earth, as it has been proclaimed in heaven. This is a huge breakthrough for the body of Christ. If you can find God and His Word and you speak His word on earth as it has been spoken from the throne of God His angels will go do His Word.

During this month of December 2012 I began to notice as I prophesied each day God would begin to instruct me to make bold proclamations about almost every person I prophesied over. In the beginning of the month it was just a few, but by the middle of the month it began to increase. Now it seems He is appointing His angels to everyone who desires to hear His Word. It was about the same time I realized that something big is about to begin. God is imparting so many spiritual gifts and at the same time commissioning an angel to minister for the one who receives a prophecy. People, a wave of declarations are being made in the heavens, preparing the body of Christ for a huge move of the Holy Spirit. It is not going to matter what the economy is or what legislation is being made in our governments. What is happening in the heavens will make the headlines. We will read something about the signs and wonders flowing throughout the world on a daily basis.

Just the other day as I was walking to my office, a strong vision came upon me. Suddenly, several secret service agents were interrogating me. They desperately wanted to know how all these Christians were able to know where to go to meet up with their like kind. Massive numbers of Christians were being assembled in unlikely places, drawn by the power of the Holy Spirit without email, phone calls, and public announcements. Only by the supernatural leading of the Holy Spirit, people were being brought together at various specified locations. Again the agents began to push for answers wanting to know how we were getting the message out to everyone. They indicated they were monitoring the internet and tracking cellular devices when they noticed thousands of dots congregating in various locations. On their screen, these dots represented the governments’ unique electronic tracking methods planted in the people’s phones and other tracking devices; that is when they became alarmed a mob was forming. Special authorities were immediately dispatched to investigate to see what was going on. When they reported back that there were large numbers of people gathering, holding some kind of religious services, the agents became greatly concerned not knowing how the Christian people were notified of these meetings without the government knowing. They also reported that a very strange magnetic power was detected over the entire area, and people were claiming to be healed and seeing angels as if they all were on drugs or drunk. The authorities reported that people were falling down as others were screaming and they danced like wild fiends.

The agents were polite as they continued questioning me. I could tell they were very scared and concerned because of their inability to understand how we all were receiving the same message to meet at the same places in the same hour without them knowing in advance. It seemed to them that everything was very orderly and being conducted by someone whom they could not trace.

Frustrated with my answers, they continued to ask if I would tell them who the leader of this organization was and how was the leader able to communicate to everyone without being detected. Each time I would reply, “We know by the Holy Spirit who leads us to wherever the Spirit of Jesus is healing us and empowering us with His Word.” They even offered me a large sum of money to tell them the truth, for they did not believe me that it was the Holy Spirit calling us together Spirit to spirit. The exact word they used was “rubbish” regarding my answers how we were called together. After many hours, they asked me if I would teach them how this worked, saying if they did not get an answer soon to how these events were being simulated they were going to lose their jobs and the entire branch of the government could be dismantled and turned over to another segment of the government.

As the vision closed and I came back to my natural self, God dropped into me His Word; Begin teaching, preaching, imparting His angels and Spiritual gifts accordingly. So beginning next week I will share what He has taught me. This revelation is huge and life-changing, empowering the body of Christ, and launching us in the power of John 14:12.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

Kent,

I received the CD with my personal prophecy that you recorded. I have to say I cried and laughed at the Words of the Lord you spoke forth.

This Word confirmed many things to me. First of all, I have sensed that God was about to bring forth things that I have hoped for, had faith for, and even spoken out and that was confirmed in this Word. Secondly, when you said that there are times something rises in me and I become “brash” with others you were right on the mark. God has been working on me since this past spring on the way I speak to people. Just when I think I have overcome something happens and I start all over again where the Lord and I left off. When you said that people feel ” a little like they have been sandpapered” I was able to see this happening to people when I came across in brash tones.

Thirdly, the good things God showed you about me was right on the mark. Fourth, I am a person that likes excitement and romance but I am the type of person that will take the mundane jobs because I see a need for those things to be completed.

Fifth point, while you spoke the words that I needed a companion that would put my needs above his own needs, I must say that caught me off guard in a way. My husband of 10 years past away 2 years ago and I have said that I do not want to get married again. Now, I have felt that if I were to ever get married again it would be to a man who puts God first and would treat me as Christ treats the church but really never thought I would get married again. So while I don’t want a man in my life, and even told the Lord that, whatever God’s Will for me on this earth will be done as it is already done in Heaven.

Thank you so very much for this Word and while I have listened over and over to it, I also have taken the time to “Write it down” on paper. I will pray through this Word and expect God to perform His Word in His Time!

Hello,… I just received a prophecy from your ministry,..thank you.I was very much encouraged by it,… Pastor Kent mentioned at least one thing that had been puzzling me for years,… and he said because I did not jump into this relationship,… the Lord would Bless me with far more wisdom because I did not,… the prophecy was very spot on for a few things,… thank you very much,… it has taken a load off my mind now,… I await with Great expectation the words of the Lord to manifest in my life that PS Kent has confirmed and refreshed (energized) within me.

Continuing with last week’s article “The Angel Spoke”, you may recall I had finally found God and His revelation and the answer why everything in my life was falling apart. He had sent me an angel, which I mistook to be a demon and ran him off. God had sent the angel who spoke to me these words: “I will tell you what you need to know and I will prosper you.” Knowing that I needed a plan on how to make repentance and get the angel back into my ministry to see the fulfillment of the verse in Hebrews 1:13, 14. God graciously allowed me the insight of what I needed to do. That was to go the Tabernacle and preach to the angels until I got a word of prophecy for myself.

But to which of the angels has He ever said:”Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool?” Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

When I got to the Tabernacle, I rummaged around in the office looking for a blank tape to put in the recorder, because I wanted to have a copy of my prophecy. I had been doing a lot of studying on angels after this experience. I figured if they are sent to us from God we best know something about them. As I made my way to the pulpit, where the tape recording system was, I put the blank tape in the recorder. My theory was that God’s angels could always be found wherever God’s people gathered. Knowing from scripture that whatever the Lord spoke in heaven had to manifest on earth as it is written:

Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10

It does not matter whose voice it is that is speaking; His Word that has been sent down from heaven. All that matters is that His Word is proclaimed; then everything will change for His angels will do His Word.

With that in mind and the tape in the recorder, with the sound system live throughout the sanctuary, I began to preach the message from my heart. Not seeing one angel sitting in the pews I continued to preach as if the room was packed out. Finally, His Word came, delivered by the angel that had been appointed unto me a few years prior. This angel is God’s messenger appointed to minister for me, ascending and descending from His throne delivering His Prophetic Word for whomever is in need of a Word from God. This night the Word was for ME!

I can just imagine what my angel thought when he landed in the Tabernacle sanctuary and saw all these other angels filling up the room. “What are you guys all doing here?” With a resounding reply, “Waiting on His Word so we know what to do.” Maybe it doesn’t happen exactly that way, but you get the idea.

Now for the final results and blessing from all my praying, hearing and obeying. Satisfied that I had my Word of Prophecy I shut everything off and went home, leaving the Tabernacle knowing in my Spirit it is finished. I had done all that I could do; it was time to sit back a patiently wait upon His Word to do the work. Two weeks had gone by and we still had faith that His Word was going to work for us. Then the day finally came.

Someone was at the door as I opened it there stood a middle aged man in a suit and tie. He introduced himself, and all I remember is that his first name was Harold, after all it had been a number of years ago; this all occurred during the autumn of 1993. I invited him into are humble little home and he sat down. Without hesitation he began to state his reason for coming to visit us without introduction. He asked if I knew of a list of men who I had played high school football with and said he represented them. We talked about each one and we had fond memories of the “good ole days”. Then he got to the point of his coming as he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a check for $50,000.00. I was floored, utterly shocked, needless to say. It was evident the angel God had originally sent to me that I earlier ran off was back. The evidence can only be found in the favor of God’s unrelenting love and grace. From that time forward, this ministering spirit has been there for this ministry many times over.

Mr. Simpson,

How are you? I pray all has been well. I would first like to say we have not forgotten about scheduling you to come to our church. My father just wanted to get the construction out of the way as to not having the place look like a construction zone before you come or anyone for that matter; which has taken a slight bit longer than expected.

As for myself I am doing ok. The reason I am writing is because I am really enjoying this newsletter lately on angels. It’s been a subject of interest for me for quite some time now. Let me explain. So I bought your SCHOOL OF PROPHETIC KNOWLEDGE back in 2009.

I was slothful about getting to it. In March 2010 my wife left which ended in divorce in June 2011. Anyhow during the time of separation I of course while searching the scriptures on marriage etc. I also started studying even more so as to keep my sanity lol during this season as I did not want to lose my family. I one day looked over and there was the School of prophetic knowledge in my face. I felt a since of urgency to watch them. I learned so much and am still learning. But when I received your teaching on “Prophetic Visions” something changed as you talked about angels work for us and through us. I think you prayed for impartation at the end if I remember correctly. But as you spoke on the subject I remember sitting in my living room and all of a sudden an angel appeared. I was overwhelmed. It was quite like you described the bright light etc. ever since that day.

I can see them especially when the atmosphere is highly saturated with the presence of God. I can see them enter in when the praise and worship service has entertained the heavenly. I have seen them on people whispering in their ears when preachers are under the anointing. I was in Kenya, Africa this last summer on missions as I have a younger sister who is a missionary there. My dad was on stage preaching a revival as the pastor was on stage with him interpreting, I saw and angel hovering around the two and it was waving what looked like a stick around as if he was conducting a symphony orchestra while they preached. I have also seen working the night shift, as I saw demonic presences I would pray and rebuke them and I would see angels literally coming and warring or what looked like fighting the demons off.

I kept it to myself as this is a subject not many talk about these days. I finally shared with my mother but it was through experience. One day I was praying with and for her as she was discouraged. While praying I saw an angel hovering over her head and the Holy Spirit told me to tell her to raise her hand. So she did and I asked her if she could feel two sensations one in her ear and on her hand and she replied yes. I then was prompted by the Holy Spirit to tell her that what she was feeling was her angel appointed to her and that God said the angel was always there. She started crying etc. she has told some immediate family etc. and I have as I have seen angels dealing with them.

What I want to know is how you in fact entertain their company on the regular. As well as the gift of prophecy on the regular as mines seem to come in as they please when I’m preaching etc. or if I’m in a highly anointed service. Also how do you explain to people or do u not unless the Holy Spirit prompts u? No one I know has experienced angels. So I have no one to talk to. Any how sorry it’s so lengthy. Please pray for me as I have been dealing with so much lately. And hopefully dad and I can schedule u soon at the church. God bless. Also if there are some good key scriptures about what I have talked about above that would be awesome.

I have been blessed to have experienced a number of angelic encounters along this wonderful journey with our Lord and Savior, and I have a couple of stories to share. Once an angel appeared to me, and for the first time I experienced an angel speak to me.

I will start from the beginning: I was in my study busy straightening up picking up books and magazines that I had been going through for the past week when all of sudden a form started taking shape in my doorway. It is rather difficult to explain how it took shape but if you remember the old popular TV series “Star Trek” it might help you understand how the angel appeared, if you can remember how they in the TV program were always being “beamed up” by Scotty. Well, that was exactly what it looked like, and it did not take very long for all the digital pieces to fill in the empty space that quickly became the form of the angel.

He was so tall I could not see his face because it was hidden behind the top part of the door casing. He did move but not very much; he just straightened up a little after he completed his transformation. I was scared and didn’t know if this was an angel from God or a demon taking on the appearance of an angel. Then he spoke to me saying, “I will tell you what you need to know and I will prosper you.” Well, that settled it; he had to be a demon. You see, back then my doctrine was much different than now and we did not believe that ministers were to have anything, especially money. The poorer you were the more spiritual you became. Anytime we had more than we needed for a day or so we gave it away lest it find a way into our hearts. Without even thinking I raised my voice stuck out my pointed finger and rebuked the demon/angel and he vanished faster than he had arrived.

Immediately, I began pulling all my ministry books and bible out and began preparing a message entitled, “The Spirit of Divination”. The message started with this verse:

Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
Acts 16:16

You see, I knew this scripture well because I had been leading a campaign coming against the 900 number psychics, and I just knew this had to be the same spirit that wanted to get into me. I was determined to keep him out and chase him far away from me.

At the time we had a Saturday morning radio program, and I preached against that foul spirit live over the radio. Then that night I was scheduled to preach a conference at the Dallas Convention hall by the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, preaching the second part of the series. The next morning, I preached the third and final sermon completing the three part series. After we had the series complete and nicely package we began to offer the series in our newsletter.

A few weeks had gone by and we seemingly supernaturally started losing most our supporters and money to pay bills stopped coming in. This all happened in 1993, just before the Thanksgiving holidays. We were flat broke with no food. Attendance in our little church was dwindling, and I was forced to go to the local food bank just so we could have a few groceries. My wife had just given birth to little Savannah and we were getting mighty scared. Of course, I had been praying my heart out to God for answers, but the heavens seemed to be closed up. After one of our evening services as I was walking across the parking lot and God spoke. He said, “If you are going to preach about demons then let the demons support you; I called you to preach about hearing Me and My messages.” Well that is all I needed to know, so I thought.

The next morning I told God I would destroy the master tapes to this message about the spirit of divination and call everyone requesting they burn their tapes too. Then I began to plead with Him to help me and after a day or two He spoke these words; “I sent you the one to help you and you ran him off.” I knew I had messed up big time.

That night I lay awake in our bed musing before the Holy Spirit, looking for a way I could get this angel back. Suddenly the light went off and I had a plan. You know how when you walk by a place there is known evil activity going on and you can feel the presence of demons? Well, my theory was that angels must hang around places where God and His people gather. It was four o’clock in the morning, and I jumped out of the bed waking my wife telling her I was going to the Tabernacle. She wanted to know why but fell back to sleep as I excitedly told her about my plan. I knew that if I could get a word of prophecy for myself the angels would have to do His Word.

Dear Kent Simpson,

I received a word from you in 1996; it was a Word that literally saved my life. Let me explain.

In 1996 my step daughter lived with her mother. Now throughout the years this woman had tried to destroy my husband and myself. In that year she had us in court 3 times in 8 months and we lost every time even though right was on our side. The judge believed that if a woman has her children she can have whatever she wants. I had been standing firm that the Lord would see us through and He did that with our finances. Well the last time that we went to court, she won again. We had already paid out over 32,000 dollars. Don’t ask me how but we did.

Well the day I got the call from our attorney that we lost again, the devil hit me hard. I hung up the phone and thought if this is what life is like I don’t want to live it anymore. I called my mom and that is really the last thing I remember. She will tell you that she came straight over, found me in the pasture. Got me up and somehow got me in the house. My house was a mess. I had thrown a lot of things around. She got me in bed and was praying. I was willing myself to die. I wanted to die. I didn’t want to live anymore. I couldn’t take everything that was happening anymore. I knew what was happening to me, I was dying. My pulse rate was off and on. I told my mom goodbye and when my husband got home I asked him to call my dad so that I could say goodbye. My dad didn’t even recognize my husband’s voice when he called. My mom called a good friend of mine that is a doctor and she wanted them to take me to the ER so that I could be admitted to a mental hospital. I refused.

The Lord told my mom, remember the tape. My mom had given you my name about a week before all this took place and it came in the mail that very day. My mom ran to her purse and got the tape and placed it in the tape player above my head. Well here is what that tape said:

Daughter when you are laying on your back with no hope or will to survive I will raise you up and place you on the solid rock. I created you for great things and you will accomplish what I have called you to do.

The change in me was immediate. My pulse became regular and I looked around at everyone and said I was hungry. My life has not been the same since that day. I want to thank you for listening to our Father and sending that tape that day. I would not be here if you had not done so. Thank you is not enough. I praise God daily for my life and enjoying living this life.
