The first thing you will need to do to enroll in the School of Prophetic Knowledge is obtain the complete DVD course with the scripture study manual; including Ordination Papers and Ministerial License to get started.

These DVDs will inform you of what we believe and what we teach. The study manual contains all the verses from the Holy Bible that are in sync with each DVD lesson. All verses are from the New King James Version of the Holy Bible.

After studying the material, and making the decision to build your ministry alongside the others under the PMT banner, you will then need to call or email Pastor and Prophetic Minister Kent Simpson to confirm you have completed the course. There is no testing and you cannot fail this course. To begin ministering under PMT’s banner you will need to sign up for the one-on-one personal training. In order to activate these required ministry benefits you will need to go to PMT’s main website and activate your Ministry Licenses by becoming a Ministry Partner with your monthly pledge.

The second thing you have to complete after the course is to make contact with Prophetic Pastor Kent Simpson. At that time PMT will activate your Ministerial License. Your Ordination Papers and Ministry License are Included at NO extra charge with your enrollment for the complete School of Prophetic Knowledge.

These two things have to be completed for you to move to the third step of “one-on-one” ministry training.

After you have made your financial pledge to become a Prophetic Ministry Partner, we will place you in training in these areas:

  • Establish Your Ministry by Perfecting the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Part of this training includes seeking God for others. From time-to-time you will receive an email with the name of a person who has made contact with PMT. This individual has reached out for a word of wisdom/knowledge, prophesy or prayer. You will have an opportunity to share what you have heard, sensed or felt by the unction of the Holy Spirit ministering to the person’s needs.

Pastor Kent will review your email and the word you are sharing and will let you know of any changes are needed and then give you the okay to send the prophecy. You will then have a chance to review the ins and outs of delivering His Word with Prophetic Pastor Kent Simpson’s oversight. This process will be for a short time and then he will allow you to send each and every prophecy directly to person asking for your help. You will need however, to see that Brother Simpson receives a copy of each prophecy you send out for future reference.

Why Do I Need Ordination Papers and Ministerial Licenses?

Q: Don’t I need to go to school and earn a degree in theology to become ordained?

A: No. There is a difference between a degree in theology and becoming ordained as a minister. A theology degree is an academic certification, generally requiring anywhere from 2 to 10 years of university study to obtain. Academically, a degree in theology is considered the same as a degree in philosophy and is generally required if you wanted to teach religion at a university level.

Ordination simply requires a demonstration of your commitment to the Church and is provided as an acknowledgment of the Church’s recognition of your commitment. All 50 states accept ordination to perform religious ceremonies, including weddings.

Q: Will I be authorized to perform weddings in my state?

A: Yes. Your Minister Ordination Certificate fulfills the spiritual requirement to officiate weddings in all 50 US states.

Q: I have lived a life of sin. Am I still eligible to become a minister?

A: Yes. We are all sinners and God knows that. However, before becoming a minister, you must pray for forgiveness for all your past sins.

Q: Can I start my own congregation once I become an official ordained Minister under Prophetic Ministries Tabernacle?

A: Yes, This is the reasons we have been led by the Holy Spirit to establish this program so that anyone who is called can receive the help needed gathering up a congregation.

Q: Will I be able to collect offerings from my congregation?

A: Whether you have a one page Internet ministry or a huge congregation, you will have our covering to receive offerings from your followers to help fund your ministry.

Q: In what religion will my ordination be registered?

A: Your PMT ordination and ministry license certifies your ministry as a tax-exempted ministry under our banner. No matter what State within the United States you establish your ministry you are covered under our non-profit corporation and protected by our nation’s constitution and bill of rights.

Q: Does my registration have an expiration date? Will it need to be renewed?

What Will Ordination Papers Do for Me?

Ordination gives you the authority to officiate weddings in all 50 states.

Marriage laws are governed at the state level. By taking the important step to be ordained, you are making a statement of faith. You are taking an oath to believe in God as the one true God, you are accepting Jesus Christ as your true and Holy Savior. It is important that you are pure of heart with a desire to show the love of Jesus to His people. In many ways, ordination is a cleansing process where each minister is asked to renew his faith in God and recognize his own sins. It is understood that we will grant you the authority to minister on our designated websites and later our Prophetic Network, a satellite and cable television program as long as you meet these conditions.

Becoming an Ordained Minister is an important step for anyone looking for advancement in his or her career and a way to experience higher level of spiritual growth. Similar to a degree or certification in vocational studies, your Ordained Certificate and Ministry License proves that you have taken the next step in your commitment to follow Jesus and His calling upon your life.

Although the benefits of being an Ordained Minister are different for all people, the capabilities and potential are the same. Being an Ordained Minister will open new doors for you, spiritually, financially, and socially.

The vast majority of our full time ministers started out as bi-vocational ministers. Meaning they keep their full time jobs while working with PMT building their ministry. If you start now as a part-time minister in training you should be able to be full time within a relative short period of time.
