“The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward” (Proverbs 11:18).

Many have despised me for teaching on Angels, and yet the Bible is full of the Saints of God having multiple encounters with His Angelic Host. Truth will either set you free or convict you. It is obvious that many have been thoroughly convicted by the fact that Angels from God are here to help us during these troubling times. The repudiation that we have received from those who judge us and warn others to stay away from us is very much appreciated, seriously! As the late Kenneth (Papa) Hagin once said, “Negative advertising is the best advertising.” With each slanderous comment we gain hundreds of seekers of truth who thirst for the real deal.

Angels are being appointed today; they are being sent forth to minister for you.

With our government going through major changes and the economy souring before our very eyes we all know of someone who has been exposed to this bitter root. The need for healing agents will become the cry of the people as our Nation’s medical system becomes very selective about who will receive care. It is obvious that the Church of the Living God is rapidly being marked as an enemy of the State. Therefore, our faith in Christ Jesus will either grow or will turn against Him and everyone who He sends to help. I have been ministered to by Angels of God many times and each time I knew in my spirit Christ Jesus had sent each one of them to heal me and set me free.

Over the years I have encountered His messengers many times as they delivered His Word to me from His throne room: words of instruction for healing, financial breakthroughs and many other areas of need . Just as Jesus our Lord and King said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner” (John 5:19). To understand the Lord’s ways you need spiritual eyes to see and spiritual ears to hear to know what He revealing to you so the healing or whatever a person may need in order to be effective. When reading the Bible, we find that Jesus did some odd things sometimes. He spit in the dirt and made mud placing it in the blind man’s eyes and he was healed. Other times Jesus just said, “Go and sin nor more” (John 8:11). Angels ascended and descended upon the Son of Man bringing His Word for what He was to do. Jesus also said to Peter; “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:17, 18).

Church, if we are commissioned to go forward and follow the example of our Lord Jesus we must be willing to accept all that He has, for He has given us the keys to the kingdom. His prophetic word is the key for every situation; however, it will only work if you are willing to accept it in the manner in which He chooses to deliver it to you.

“In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an Angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had” (John 5:3,4).

Angels Will Deliver Us:

With so many smothered in debt, we must be open to receive our deliverance in whatever way He so wills. To reject the vessel He sends to deliver you is to judge the Master; falsely adhering to the idea that you somehow know more than God. He will use His Angels to do whatever He so wills.

A number of years ago I was ministering in Nacogdoches, Texas and an older lady came up to me during the services in desperate need for help. She said that the bank was going to foreclose on her home. Although if she would come into the bank they would have her sign a deed in lieu of foreclosure and she would not be liable for the balance of the loan if the house did not sell for enough to pay the remaining balance. During the meeting before I prophesied over her she ask me what she should do. As I prayed for her our Father told me to tell her that an Angel would go into the bank and destroy all the documents and that she would not lose her home. A year later I was back in Nacogdoches, Texas as I was closing out the meeting the same lady came up and took the microphone out of my hand and began to testify. She told us she reluctantly went to the bank and met with the banker who was to have her sign the papers. As he went to get the papers she waited in his office and she waited, and she waited. Finally, the banker apologetically returned and told her that she would have to come back, for her file could not be found. Then she told us that months later she received a letter from the bank’s attorney stating that they would not be foreclosing and that she owed no more money on the house. They also said that they regrettably were not able to send her the canceled note and mortgage but the letter would suffice as evidence that the house was clear of all debts and owned nothing on the house. She then shouted, “God’s Angel destroyed the file.” Over and over she shouted giving praise to God for sending His Word and Angel! God can do whatever He wants anyway He wants.

“But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.” Acts 5:19

Therefore, do not think this is unusual that the very thing that was touched is that which the enemy has tried to disrupt, stop the flow in your body for that which he would like to do he cannot do in the spirit in your life nor in your ministry. If the enemy knew that the people I have sent you would rise up with more clarity a greater anointing one victory for the light side surely he would have let you be and as I said before this will not come again. As you continue to co-labor with Me I will place you where the evil one will ouch you not. Therefore, set apart of the day where it will be your times with Me to minister to your body, mind and soul. This is the time when you don’t talk to Me about other people or go over you long list of to do’s. You will do nothing says God. This is the place where you will draw waters from the well of salvation and sooner much sooner than later you shall walk with Me in the cool of the evening. You shall walk and not grow weary. I will tell you My secrets, I will be your God and you will be My son; Says the Spirit of the Lord, Amen.

Word of Knowledge:

The Lord has shown me the affected area in your leg. I saw inside the vein inside the veins are flaps and yours kind of did a raspberry or like when a baby spits out food they don’t like. This interferes with the blood flow and throws off the water balance causing swelling. The water flowing out must have been frightening but that in itself was a miracle that the Lord has caused for your body to get rid of the water until you got help. This is what was hidden this is what the enemy did not want you to see the problem in the smaller saphenous which means hidden or was hidden. So the infection is camouflage of which you will fully recover. I see the hands of the Lord fixing the flap, giving it back its proper shape. Father I speak to this vein and every blood vessel. I speak to the largest to the smallest and I loose elasticity in the name of Jesus; be healed, made whole and set free! Amen! So as you take your walk with God you will be good.

I received my Prophecy CD in the mail on October 20, 2014, and at the end, supernaturally, I said, “Thank You Jesus” repeatedly for a time and the palm of my hands turned blood red with heat & oil as a confirmation from the Lord that I had received the gift(s) for healing by the laying on of hands and the Lord confirmed that He had assigned an Angel to minister with me.

I just received the prophecy and wanted to say that you were spot on, and that the Holy Spirit has truly spoken through you! I am amazed at confirmation that the Lord has given though you. To explain, I have a friend in my life who is also a prophet. Three times so far in the last six weeks she has prophesied almost exactly the same description. The Lord has told me through her that on my coming trip to Sri Lanka, while I will be preaching to a crowed on the street, that an evil man will rise up against me stirring up with him an angry mob who will physically push and shove me and verbally threaten to harm and destroy me. Then the Lord told me not to be afraid, but to have faith in Him and to pray in the spirit at that time, because He will put the right words in my mouth and that the evil man will fall to the ground. Even your description about the crowd fearing my day of doom, but later rejoicing when the Lord gives the victory, is almost word for word with what the Lord has spoken previously through my friend. Then there is the fresh part of the prophecy that the Lord has spoken through you that has made me weep because they revealed a desire of my heart that only the Lord knew, and now I know He has heard me and will answer my desire. Thank you for being a willing vessel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and changing lives for the glory of God!

What is Prophetic Counseling?

There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.

When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.

In the very beginning of this ministry in 1989, God made a promise to me that everywhere a prophecy was sent I would reap a harvest and that I would be prophesying to hundreds of people. When our Lord made this promise to me I really did not know how that was going to work, but one day in May of 1994 I found myself boarding an airplane headed for Norway, readying myself to share God’s word with people halfway across the world. It was at that point the Holy Spirit brought back to my remembrance what our Lord had promised.

I traced within my mind the path that led me to visit Norway. Months prior, I had received a letter of invitation to prophesy at a church within the country. The folks who invited me were a group of men who had found my ad in Charisma magazine and received their prophecies. In our letters of correspondence, I learned that they estimated over 500 Norwegian people had received prophecies after having seen the ad.

Once all the arrangements were made, the men in Norway raised the funds to purchase tickets for Wes Arnold, my brother-in-law, and me to travel to Norway. We made plans to hold three services each day for nine days in Oslo at a church building that had been closed for over two years. Prior to these Oslo meetings, we were to hold a few services in a church in the far Northern part of Norway in a town named Al. When we landed in Oslo, there were a few people waiting to take us on a five and a half hour drive to the Saturday night service in Al. However, our flight was delayed by a few hours. This created quite a rush to get us to the church; we sped through the mountain roads in a car packed with five people and lots of luggage.

When we arrived the Pastor rushed us up to the stage without so much as a bathroom break. You must understand we had been traveling with layovers on three planes and an automobile, totaling more than 23 hours without sleep. We pressed on, however, and Wes began the praise service. When he had ushered in the spirit, I brought the message and prophesied to everyone in the house. It was about two o’clock in the morning before we closed out the service.

The very next morning we were back at the church and we had communion service; more people showed up and received their word of prophecy. During communion, a man and woman entered carrying a young woman and laid her at the back of the church on sofa cushions. At the end of the service, the couple came to me with an interpreter and asked that I pray for their daughter. They said that about a year ago, as she was taking communion, she fell to the ground totally paralyzed and had not moved since. My energy was nearly drained from traveling and ministering; however, I knelt down to pray for the girl.

To our surprise the very next day, that same little girl who had been immobile came walking in with her parents. Wes and I took a quick glance at each other as if to say, “Do you see what I see?” We knew we were in for a wonderful, Spirit filled service; miraculous healings were abundant, and the prophetic words were spot on.

The next day we traveled back to Oslo to start the nine days of meetings. The first meeting was at nine o’clock in the morning, and there were only about 40 people in attendance. The afternoon meeting was challenging to say the least; one of the men stood up while I was teaching and wanted to argue with me about my message. After a few attempts at reasoning with the man, I finally realized he wasn’t going to stop, so I put the microphone down and Wes and I left the meeting, went back to our room and began to pack to go home. The men who sent for us came to the room and begged us to stay; we told them we did not come to argue. After much discussion we agreed to go back and minister God’s Word.

“He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward” (Matthew 10:41).

With an immense foreboding feeling upon us, we returned to hold the evening meeting. We walked into a room with 426 people anxiously waiting for us to minister to them. Our shock could not be concealed. From that point on, the meetings continued to grow.

Once word got out, one of the Christian television stations came to televise the meetings. After a few days the owner and host of the TV station asked me to come on his program and prophesy live over those who called in for His Word. Hundreds of people hungered for more of the prophetic movement, and they continued to send for us. We made fourteen more trips over the next two years. Many people were healed, and His Word continues to bring in a harvest to this very day. So be it; Amen!

I have been so busy a major move and one of our sons wedding, but I was finally able to transcribe your prophetic word just now after sending my first email regarding the question. Wow! I do believe the word was for me because the Lord has told me I am a prophet, but I am still in “hiding” so to speak. He has given me (and my children) many, MANY dreams and visions and words. That was the most intense word I’ve ever received but I just told the Lord that I will do whatever He wants me to do, in fact, that is the question that continues to come up -“what do you want me to do?” I am a mother of 10 children with 4 still at home and have recently had MUCH, MUCH warfare against me and my relationships with people. What is Prophetic Counseling?

There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.

When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. My understanding of this scripture below is different than what the Word of Faith movement taught me:

In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.

Prophetic Memories from 1991

“Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them”(Acts 19:11-12).

The Holy Scriptures tell us Jesus did so many miracles that if each of them was recorded there would not be enough room to store all of the written accounts. If so much of what Jesus did is not recorded in the Bible it is easy to understand that Jesus did miracles in ways we do not know. Yet it appears that we have a tacit belief that the only way a true miracle of God can be performed today is for us first to find it in the Bible. Jesus did not teach His disciples formulas or methods for creating miracles. He taught the only way you can move in any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is to pray, hear and obey God. We should pray and do what He tells us and speak only what He says. That, my friends, is the way miracles work.

“This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen” (John 21:24, 25).

In the summer of 1989, my weekly routine involved going to the early morning men’s prayer breakfast each Friday. As usual, I was the first to show up, and since I had a key to the building I went in and started brewing some coffee. After a couple of cups I wondered if anyone was going to show up.

I watched the clock tick away for twenty minutes, and still no one had shown. As I waited I caught sight of an 18-wheeler slowly pulling up at the curb. The driver sat in his truck for a minute then lumbered toward the building. I greeted the grizzly-looking man, asked his name and invited him in for a cup of coffee. He had never been to any of our prayer breakfast meetings and didn’t know any members of our church.

While we waited for the others to show the trucker began to tell me about his life. He was suffering from various addictions and was on the verge of divorce. His father was an alcoholic, as were his brothers, who were always entrenched in argument with one another.

A short time later a couple of the regular members showed up, and as we prepared to pray for the trucker, the Lord told me to take out my handkerchief and have everyone grab a corner. As we did the presence of the Holy Spirit filled the room, and in that moment the trucker gave his life to Jesus. When he gave his life over to God his countenance immediately began to change. I instructed the trucker to take the handkerchief with him and tell his entire family what had happened.

A few months went by and one Sunday morning as I looked over the congregation, I was surprised to see that once beaten-down soul now dressed in a suit and tie with his wife and children at his side and a smile on his face. After the sermon he asked if he could testify. The Trucker told the congregation that he took the handkerchief to his father who was in the hospital dying of heart disease and cirrhosis of the liver from alcohol abuse. In the room with the Trucker were his brothers who also abused alcohol and drugs. As instructed the Trucker took the handkerchief and laid it upon his dying father. Weeping and praying suddenly his father came out of a comma. Three days the father was taken home and the entire family celebrated their father’s miracle and the Trucker led his father, brothers and their families into the sinner’s prayer to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Since that day our Lord Jesus has graciously blessed hundreds of people from sicknesses, diseases, and evil spirits. As of January 27, 2012, our Lord instructed me, according to first Timothy 4:14, to use an anointed handkerchief in place of laying on of my physical hands to impart the spiritual gifts when I prophesy into their lives. The results have been overwhelming, with hundreds of testimonies telling of miraculous encounters and with evidence of the manifestation of these various spiritual gifts working in their lives.

Thank you Jesus for all you have done and continue to do for your people; so be it, Amen!

Prophetic Memories from 1991

After the seasoned Prophet laid his hands upon me, he prophesied and imparted a spiritual gift, the gift of prophecy, word of knowledge, wisdom and the gift of faith; according to first Corinthians 12:1-11

“Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership” (1 Timothy 4:14).

Wanting to get my feet wet and being excited about ministering to as many people as I possibly could, I began to contact church leaders asking if they were open to hold a hearing clinic in their church. They usually responded by saying, “What kind of hearing aids are you selling?” When I explained that I was not selling hearing aids but teaching on how to hear the voice of God their attitude suddenly changed. I learned very quickly, however, that I was considered a kook and was NOT received with open arms. In fact, during one visit, one pastor blocked the doorway with his Bible under his arm. When I gave him my pitch, he interrupted me and piously asked, “So you think you can hear God?” I responded that I could, and then he opened his Bible and told me that the only way we can hear God is by reading the Bible. Then the Holy Spirit said, “Ask him if he was called to preach.” So I asked, and the man replied with his chin out and his Bible tucked tightly under his arm said, “YES, Bless God, Amen!” Then the Holy Spirit said, “Ask him where his name is in the Bible.” I did, and, immediately the pastor stepped back and slammed the door in my face.

It became very obvious that 1991 was NOT going to be the year I would be preaching and prophesying in churches. Knowing I had to use the gift or lose it was putting added pressure on me, and I did not know where I was to go. I was sending out maybe a hundred or so prophesies by mail each month, but that was not enough. I wanted to tell people about this gift and how it had changed my life. I knew I had to prophesy to more people. This new relationship with our heavenly Father was so powerful, and He was teaching me so much I was becoming spiritually obese; I needed to exercise these gifts. The pressure was too much; something had to give. As I cried out to God, He began dropping little hints about what I was to do next.

My breakthrough finally came with one phone call from a local radio station. They had called after seeing my ad in Charisma Magazine. Excited and ready to get started, I was caught off guard when they began to ask me what I would be doing on this new radio program. Learning from the recent experience I had calling on church leaders I knew not to tell them everything, so I just told them I was going to be praying live with callers and teaching on seeking God. After signing their contract for a thirty minute program each Saturday morning at nine o’clock we were off and running. Each Saturday morning my wife and I would run by and pick up Wes, who is her brother and my best friend, and drive straight to our favorite McDonald’s. There we would plan out the message and prepare for the live program then head out for downtown Dallas, where the radio station would be streaming the program over large areas of Texas and Oklahoma.

Each Saturday was a different experience, and we quickly became the talk around the station. As callers waited on the line, my wife would collect their name and address. Then the radio engineer would hold up a sheet of paper that showed the caller’s name and what line they were on. In the soundproof room, Wes would pray as I preached and prophesied over each caller. At the end of the program the radio engineer would give me a tape of the program. When we returned home we would send a copy to each caller with their prophetic word including the morning’s message.

After a year of being in Charisma Magazine and preaching and prophesying live over radio, I was holding services six days a week. We were welcomed everywhere, but no one would allow us to minister in their church building. From Senior Citizen Halls to Fort Worth’s Cowtown Hotel, the sleaziest hotel in town where prostitutes and drug lords rented rooms by the month, we praised God, preached His Word and prophesied. We had gathered a following from all over the Metroplex through the radio program. At times people would come to the station and wait for us in the parking lot, wanting a word from God. Folks were hungry to hear His Word and wanted to know more about what He was teaching me about hearing Him and following His Spirit.

OUR FIRST MINISTRY ROAD TRIP

After just a few weeks the Prophetic Ministries Today radio program was gaining listeners. During one Saturday morning program, God told me to tell the people that we were busting out of this place, taking His grace. Calls from all over began to flood the radio station, with people asking us to come to their city. Soon after, we began to hold meetings in our home to train a group of people who had recently discovered they had the gift of prophecy. Before long, we were scheduling meetings, setting up locations, dates and times. We were ready to make our first weekend road trip. To ensure that we had God’s favor, a few days before the meeting, a couple of us drove Mike, a little man of God with a powerful gift of intercession, to Jacksboro so that he could beseech our Father to send his angels and prepare the city for our first prophetic meeting.

The day had finally come for us to take our ministry on the road. As we all gathered to leave, we all made a circle, held hands, and began to pray for Jesus’ anointing. There were about fourteen people ministering, including a blind woman, with whom I was not familiar. Regardless, she came along to pray for us as we all prophesied. His anointing fell upon us as we began to pray in the Spirit. Some who were praying went out under the power, others went to their knees. It was a powerful beginning to what would be an astounding outpouring of the Spirit.

As we prayed, the Holy Spirit told me to spit in the blind woman’s eyes and He would heal them. I thought about it and wondered how I was going to do this. I met the Lady just a few minutes ago. I took too long to make up my mind, and the opportunity for her to receive her healing had passed. When the meeting ended, I took the woman by the arm, as she tapped her red and white stripped cane. We carefully walked down the steps toward the cars.

When I knew that she had mastered the rhythm of the steps, I told her what the Holy Spirit told me during the prayer. She stopped and shouted, “He told you that and you didn’t spit in my face? What is wrong with you?” She started swinging her cane at me; she even hit me a few times. I apologized, and she made it very clear that next time I should not wait, but do exactly what HE says, no matter what it is.

We traveled to Jacksboro, and after picking up Mike at the road side motor inn, we rolled up to a nearby bank where we were holding the meeting. The Hambro’s, our contact in Jacksboro, had graciously made all the arrangements for us. They met us at the door and introduced us to all who showed up. A local Texas Christian artist and acquaintance of ours, Johnny Dane, led praise and worship for the congregation as the service began.

I brought the message after Johnny so wonderfully ushered in the Holy Spirit. Then our ministry team lined up in front of the congregation as Hambro’s team took a couple of baskets full of blank audio cassette tapes and handed them out to everyone. The people began to form a line in front of me; each one would hand me their blank tape, and I would load it into my recorder and begin telling them whatever the Lord was saying. I would hand back the tape to a trainee to prophesy and down the line they would go.

Three hours went by; almost half the people had gone, and we had started packing up. It was one o’clock in the morning, when, suddenly, the bank doors opened and about forty people were dragged in by a few of the younger people who had already received their prophecies. I saw the young folks leave, but I had no idea they were coming back, much less with so many people in tow. Later we found out they drove all over town finding friends and family, telling them about the meeting. We got back in a line, handed out the rest of the tapes, and began prophesying to each and every one; we even had to double up on a few of the tapes, as we had run out.

Though it was late, we made sure that everyone who showed up received a word. Exhausted, we packed up and started the trip back home. As we drove back through the hills of Northwest Texas, a huge lightning storm entertained us. We were all in complete awe of the awesome power of the Lord, and we celebrated His awesome introduction of His Word for the people in Jacksboro, Texas.

The next day the prophetic team came to the house to discuss all God had done and what we had learned. During most of the meeting we worshipped Him and began praising Him with thanksgiving on our hearts. After many tears of joy were shed, we sat down and made plans for our next road trip to Southeast Texas, to a town called Nacogdoches, reported to be the oldest town in Texas founded by the Spaniards in 1716…(to be continued)

It is difficult to put into words how this weekend’s meeting has touched & affected me personally. I needed time for things to settle down before I could process the information, the prophetic interactions and words that were released this weekend. Prior to attending the meeting God spoke to me and told me to attend the next meeting in Jan also. I thought that was a little odd, but after meeting you, your family and fellow ministers I am so grateful that He placed such value on your ministry to give me the heads-up on the next meeting before I met any of you.

The words you spoke to me touched on areas of my life that only God knows are a concern to me. He showed you the hidden things that are taking place in my life and those things on my heart and gave assurance of His help and changes to come.

What you are doing with the ministers in this group is truly amazing, you see the need to release people into who and what God has called them to do and giving them a place, space and recourses to accomplish all that God would desire in their lives. The prophetic elders you commissioned this weekend are a gift from God to all of us, and I am so grateful for their service, calling, anointing, and confirmation.

I am looking forward to the meeting in January. I have not said all that I could concerning the impact of this gathering on my life; but know this, my walk with God and people will never be the same.

What is Prophetic Counseling?

There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.

When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. When emailing or visiting over the phone most of the time God gives me the answers within seconds, if they are warranted questions. My understanding of this scripture below is different than what the Word of Faith movement taught me:

I Want to be Your Prophetic Pastor

In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. It is time for me to develop long term relationships with the people who have a real desire to learn more about what God is doing today.

Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.

In the summer of 1989, I was asked to join The Southwest Conference of Apostles and Prophets to be held in Dallas, Texas. I was new to the ministry and felt so honored to be a part of such a distinguished group of senior ministers. I received a formal invitation in the mail about a month before the conference was to meet and it seemed to take forever for the days to go by.

Finally, the day arrived and I was headed to Dallas, wearing my finest suit and tie for the big event. As I drove happily, I was not really thinking of anything in particular when God said, “Keep your tongue to roof of your mouth and I will send one to defend you.” I had no idea what He was talking about or when this commandment was to be initiated, so I kept driving not giving too much thought to what our Father meant. I wondered if maybe He just did not want me to talk too much at the conference.

The meeting was held at the Doubletree Hotel north of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. After everyone had located their assigned seating, the meeting began. The meeting was composed of about 40 well-known ministers. It did not take too long before I noticed a number of the men looking my direction, as they leaned over appearing to ask the person next to them who I was. I felt no discomfort, for I was still riding high on the fact that I was in the presence of these powerful men of God.

I soon began to figure it out that this was a business meeting of sorts. A discussion began about what action might need to be taken in regards to a certain minister. I, along with a few other men around me, began looking around wondering who they were talking about. Then a few clues began to surface as questions were asked about this minister. I recall one minister from the Boston area stood up in defense of the minister in question. He stated that he knew of a prophet who offered pieces of his t-shirt that he had worn while in prayer to God for an offering. He went on to say that if churches would put these prophets on their payroll they would not have to do such things in order to keep their ministries alive. Then a prophet from Oklahoma stood up announcing that this prophet that was the center of this controversy was sending out prophesies without the oversight of an apostle. Right behind him stood an apostle who began to demand action against this prophet in question because he was prophesying outside of the church. Many other ministers still did not know who they were talking about, although the realization that I could be this unknown prophet began to settle in.

The morning session flew by and then we all moved to a large ball room to have lunch and hear a message from Pastor John Hagee from San Antonio, Texas. There were about 500 ministers from around the world. Only invited ministers were allowed to attend any of the meetings, and after hearing the message from Dr. Hagee I could understand why, for he railed upon the ministers by name who he considered to be a disgrace to God and the church saying things that were not for the ears of the milk-fed Christians.

After we broke up the lunch meeting and heard the message from Dr. Hagee, we returned back to the meeting room where we started earlier that morning. To my surprise, the men on both sides of me had moved their seat to another table. It was strange, but I thought maybe they just wanted to sit by people they knew. However, right before the meeting got started one of the ministers came over to my table with tears in his eyes and gave me a scripture that was intended to comfort me. I thought that was rather odd, because I was feeling just fine and could see no reason to be concerned. As the head minister at the table began to open the meeting up for new business, a man stepped into the room that was not present during the morning meeting. Immediately this man was acknowledged and many stood up in honor of his presence. As he made his way to the table, he must have noticed that there were not many chairs available for him.

Seeing me with two empty chairs, one on each side of me, he started making his way toward me. As other ministers tried to give him their chair, he would quickly thank them and continue walking my way until he was finally sitting right beside me.

After everything settled down the head table started the meeting back up right where they had left off. It did not take long for everyone in the room except the minister who had just sat down next to me to know that I was the prophet whose integrity was being questioned. I found it odd, that no one ever addressed me directly. Lists of allegations that were formed against me; many opinions were openly presented for the ministers to consider.

Normally, I would have stood up and given these men a piece of my mind, but I was under such a wonderful covering of God’s grace I just kept smiling at everyone remembering what He had said to me as I drove to the meeting. “Keep your tongue to the roof of your mouth and I will send one who will defend you.” As the list was read and the meeting opened for more discussion, I noticed that the minister who had sat down next to me stood up. The head table recognized him, and when he opened his mouth it was like a roaring fire was coming out of him. He began to point out that he had been practicing all of my alleged wrongdoings, and doing so without the oversight of an apostle. He responded as though they might have been talking about him. The men at the head table immediately went into spin mode as they began to back down from the allegations, assuring him that they were not accusing him. Then the man, still steaming, said, “I don’t know who you are talking about here today, but I would advise you not go with what you are planning or you will find yourself coming against me and every prophet that is doing the will of God.” Immediately, the meeting moved on to another topic as the man of God leaned over and shook my hand and left the meeting. I was in awe of what had just happened. The man of God was the late Leonard Fox, who was on the forefront of the Later-Day Rain prophetic movement of the early days. Prophet Leonard Fox ministered alongside of the likes of William Branham, A.A. Allen, Jack Cole Sr. and many others who have gone on to be with our Master. Needless to say, I was never again harassed by any of these ministers.

Leonard Fox was a rare gift to the Body of Christ, an excellent expository preacher, a man with a vision for missions and church planting, and a prophetic ministry that touched thousands of lives. We will all miss him profoundly! He was a great spiritual mentor and pastor. Brother Fox was a foundation builder, mentoring many young preachers and helping them find God’s way. We honor him as a true father of the faith and Prophetic Pastor.

Leonard Fox passed away on April 7, 2012. The Celebration service for Pastor Fox was at Amistad Cristiana Church, located at 863 N. Mt. View in San Bernardino, California.

“How Long Must I Endure the Silence of My Prophets”

Very inspiring! I thank you for being so candid about your feelings and journey. I think this message has really raised the bar on my hope of God still using me. I know I have dealt with some of those same thoughts and feelings just like any other person.

I was amazed at the definition of prosperity! There are so many words we do that with. “Love” would be one of them. We say things like, “I love chocolate cake” which then diminishes when we use “love” in the biblical sense. It’s not the same as using “there, their or they’re”. We use the same word “love” for God’s love for us. We don’t differentiate between “eros, philos and agape”. We might mean it different, but our subconscious still hears the same word.

It even came on my birthday! I have experienced all of the above at some time or another. Once I “accidentally” sat among the leading prophets and apostles at Bill Hammond’s church. I was uncomfortable as I was aware of many people looking at me wondering who I was and what I was doing there. (I got there before they all came in and sat around me) Later I was called out and it was prophesied over me, “Yes, you are one of these.” What a divine set up! Still very few know my name, but I am OK with that. I am only looking to hear and obey and say whatever the Spirit of God gives me to speak. I have just come through a 2 year season where it seemed like many were being used to silence my prophetic voice – even leaders who asked me to teach on prophecy! I have learned that often “Man’s rejection proceeds God’s promotion!” It keeps us in that place of only saying what God has to say instead of our fleshly opinions. What is salt without a little seasoning? I believe many of the prophets are transitioning into a new season where God will require us to speak warnings and loving correction in a bolder and more passionate way. We have spoken so many personal words into lives to impart destiny, callings and stir up the gifts and that is all good, but these times demand a shout that will awaken and prepare the church. I was awake all night awaiting the arrival of my new grandson, who I believe the Father has called to be a prophetic voice like Samuel from a young age. The anticipation outweighed the desire for sleep. As we anticipate the Bridegroom’s return we also need to have such a desire that we dare not sleep. Blessings on your ministry and keep sharing the prophetic word of encouragement. It is life giving.

“How Long Must I Endure the Silence of My Prophets”

I have been through a very long transition period (still occurring) and I don’t hear anything much. You had given me a word in June about the trials and sufferings and even stated that it will feel like God isn’t with me even though I am doing everything to please Him. I was to be assured He was and things will progress. This gives me hope for January’s gathering when the elders will be laying hands on the attendees according to 1 Tim 4:14. I am expecting to be “ignited” to hear the angel that The Lord will send so I may exercise the gifts given to me as well. You are my mentor and I look up to you with absolute respect for the things you go through to continue as a prophet. It’s intimidating and satan tells me I do not have what it takes but I know he is a LIAR and God will give me everything I need to fulfill my purpose. I want to be a part of that remnant God needs for the upcoming harvest. Transition is preparation and I am running this race head on regardless of the secular realm. Love your uplifting articles. My understanding of this scripture below is different than what the Word of Faith movement taught me:

Anytime I am with someone or chatting via email or other ways I am listening to what God has to say. The is a totally different understanding of this verse rather than what Word of Faith has been teaching over the years; “Whatever we agree upon it will come to pass” one major flaw is the one person left out of this formula, GOD!

The partnership level between being a Prophecy Partner and that of being a Family Partner are different and one does not automatically cover the requested offering for the other.

I Want to be Your Prophetic Pastor

In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. It is time for me to develop long term relationships with the people who have a real desire to learn more about what God is doing today.

In addition to the prophetic gift God has given me, the Lord has also directed me to become a Prophetic Pastor to those who will receive me. In this new capacity, I can sew prophetic seeds into the lives of those who want to prosper with me. Receiving Your Personal Prophecy

Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.

In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.

Old Testament Times

In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.

Today’s Spiritual Guidance

As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.

In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.
