It’s a challenge to study the scriptures to have your mind transformed. It can be exhausting. Not only changing what you believe but how you think can become confusing. Better yet, forcing your soul and body to come in line with your born-again spirit seems impossible.

Trusting your closest friends or family to guide you through this process can turn into a horrible encounter with the judgmental fingers pointing out all your sins. Everyone telling you how G3D wants you to live your new life can create emotional trauma and despair.

It does not take long before all that so-called help traps you into a new type of prison. When you were born-again Jesus set you totally free from all your sins. His blood cleansed you white as snow. You were as free as you’ll ever be in that moment. Too often people find themselves bound by those who want to control and rule over your new life.

This Sunday will see how the Holy Spirit takes us through a maze of scriptures to deliver the answers as we seek to find out from Him.

God’s Supreme Revelation:

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed Heir of All Things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they” (Hebrews 1:1-4 NKJV).

The Son Exalted Above Angels:

For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son”? (Hebrews 1:5 NKJV)

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire”  (Hebrews 1:6-7 NKJV).

But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. you have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions” (Hebrews 1:8-9 NKJV).

And: “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; and they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail” (Hebrews 1:10-12 NKJV).

But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:13-14 NKJV). —Go back up to verse 5 & 8,9—

In the Resurrection:

“So, the seven had her and left no offspring. Last of all the woman died also. Therefore, in the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife.”

Jesus answered and said to them, “Are you not therefore mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God? For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken.” (Mark 12:22-27 NKJV)

 

The Veil is Torn:

 “Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

So, when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:50-54 NKJV)
