Lord, You have saved me from the empty things I use to chase. I thought I wanted to be a successful businessman with lots of stuff and more money than I could spend; however, I was wrong. I am so blessed Lord you jerked the rug out from under my plans.
True bravery is following Christ, in a world that hates Him. Growing up, from the time I was a young boy I wanted to be a soldier. When the war in Vietnam started, I thought this was my chance; although, I was too young. When I finally was old enough to enlist a few of my friends who were already in the war came home. When I told them I was going to join the Marine Corp they threatened me within an inch of my life telling me not to do it. So, I guess you could say I was preserved to be enlisted in the Army of G3D.
A married Christian couple display how much they love Jesus by how they treat each other. It is true, Apostle John’s letters to the Church make for a strong statement regarding how we should love one another. “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (1 John 4:20 NKJV)
