Now is the Time:
The Lord blessed my family with meeting Pastor Kent Simpson over a decade ago. We’ve been receiving personal prophecies regularly through the years.
Just last month, my husband Stephen and I with our three sons attended PMT’s Anointed by Association gathering. This was a different experience than receiving personal prophecy by email. Pastor Kent set the stage for teamwork and inclusion. Since he made personal prophecy by the team available to everyone who attended, there was no need to scramble for a place in line. There was no vying for position since he cast the PMT vision and welcomed everyone to join in whichever capacity they felt led.
He created a safe and life-giving culture of teamwork and inclusion.
I understand the extreme value of this, having faced many situations which were laced with competition and jealousy.
And so, on the subject of competition and jealousy which Judith Oldridge wrote about last week, there is a piece that the Lord spoke to me for this particular time.
The prophetic word that He released to me is this: “I AM planning a marvelous forward thrust in the month of March which will be accomplished through My people working together. There will be healing in relationships, and working together in a much more cohesive fashion, which is My will, and the effect of this will be a great forward motion for the Kingdom at large.
I want My people to be aware of the enemy’s schemes. The evil one uses the wounds of My people to prevent them from moving forward with Me. I AM highlighting different wounds in order to bring healing now, so My people will be ready to move forward with Me. I AM not condemning My people; I want My people to recognize My finger on their inner fractures for the purpose of healing. Now is the time for completion/jealousy to be uprooted.”
When the Lord releases a time-released word, there is often an action necessary on our part in order to enter into His revealed will. Almost from the moment Stephen and I married, we were thrust into major housecleaning on generational issues. This was an unexpected surprise to us as newlyweds and heralding from families who loved Christ!
One pivotal thing the Lord taught us through this process was about root issues stemming from wounds. Many wounds are unhealed generational left-overs (they were not even our own personal issue). So, we embarked on a quest to discover root causes so we could be free to be who the Lord wanted us to be.
I’d like to share the following roots to competition/jealousy which the Lord taught us here, if I may, so that we may be ready to step forward in His plans for March onward.
Jealousy as a wound is caused by:
1. Displacement (often from a new sibling when we are young, or from a divorce, things that go way back when we were being shaped)
2. Hopelessness (“I’ll never have what he/she has” thinking which leaves us no other options, in our minds, except to pine over what someone else has.)
3. Lack of understanding process (Each person who truly has something valuable has gone through a tremendous process to bring it forth (deep mining for gold for example). Here is good news: There is treasure for each person who will do the work with the Lord to uncover it within themselves. None of us is left out. What another person has does not leave us out causing displacement. There is treasure in each person which is only released over time in Him with work. To distinguish, working through the jealousy (or any) issue is our working out our salvation. The Lord has already completed His part of this at the cross.)
Those wounds, when left unaddressed, cause actions that attract the demonic.
The purpose of the demonic with jealousy is to cause complete destruction so that even the memory is erased (of a person, place or thing).
I have a friend who is a seer. She has often seen demons released to attack her in vicious and vengeful ways through people she would consider an ally.
If we could visualize the impact and damage that our unhealed wounds release to others like this, I know the Father’s people would quickly run to Him for personal healing.
Now is the time to do so.
It was such a glorious moment when the Lord taught us how to walk in the opposite spirit of completion/jealousy. It is honor.
There is one barrier to receiving the Father’s antidote to jealousy that our culture trained us to accept. We’re trained to deflect compliments. When someone says something like, “you did such a great job,” that’s our cue according to the culture to respond, “yes, well, but I messed up here and here.” We were trained to respond that way so we would not appear prideful.
However, honor is based on truth. The Father sends honor our way not to give us the big head, but to build a shield of honor around us so that we are protected when the flaming arrows of competition/jealousy launch in our direction. He certainly does not want the memory of us erased.
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Psalm 84:11
In addition to coming to the Father for healing, it’s important to build on the positive side so we are shielded from the attacks which are being launched, so we must:
1. Accept that honor is important
2. Receive it
3. Give Father the thanks (He was the One who worked in us to form the Image of Christ which is being honored)
4. Give honor to others with our words, texts, notes, etc.
So, on that note, I’d like to honor Pastor Kent and Debbie Simpson. Pastor Kent has poured out his life to the Father, ready to do His will. He has stayed in that place which requires so much personal sacrifice. Debbie has served full heartedly alongside him with love, joy, compassion and kindness. She has sparked many miracles and healings as a result of her courage to share her testimony.
Together, they have created a very safe place for the Father’s people to come and to find our place. Pastor Kent has demonstrated the open heartedness of the Father that there is room for all. There’s no need to compete or to agree with jealousy because there is a place for each one.
There is a place for you. There’s room at Father’s table. Not only is there room, but, you are needed. World Harvest is here. Father placed gifts in you which are needed at this time in history.

I really had to email Pastor Kent regarding the Word I received today. Although, I have received other prophetic words, always similar, I had been feeling a little lost and confused about “What the heck is going on?” Wondering, did I not understand, as if I have been plowing and plowing with no joy set before me?? Then like a shock wave, as I was listening to my Word, pastor Kent said, “You also have the gift of the Porter, a gatekeeper, one who watches the gates of entrance”. I couldn’t believe my ears! This is my maiden name, which I know means doorkeeper or gatekeeper. There is no way he would have known that, and I have always wondered if it had spiritual significance.

Who are God’s Generals?
You are training leaders: as you teach me new truths, I can teach my grandchildren how to live for God, and show them (by example) how to serve the Lord with all their heart. I am continually teaching them what you have taught me, in a form that they can receive it. Then I can write about what they are learning, and so teach others in the world the same thing, through articles, and the daily devotional ‘Thought for the Day’. It is multiplying what you’re teaching, imparting and anointing us to do. As we find out what we’re called to do, we can move ahead quickly in the Spirit.

I saw on Facebook the article Mr. Simpson wrote for Elijah List. Mr. Simpson visited our home church in (Texas) in the mid-1990s with Ras Robinson and his son Kevin Robinson. Mr. Simpson prophesied over my husband and me that night. He also prophesied over all our 5 children and all in our small fellowship who wanted to be ministered to. That meeting in our living room is a benchmark in our walk with God to this very day. We look back at the accuracy of what Mr. Simpson delivered from Holy Spirit into our lives that night with wonder and awe at how personal our God really is.

What is Prophetic Counseling?
There is a difference between receiving Prophetic Counseling vs. Personal Prophecy.
When giving prophetic guidance and counseling it helps to know more about the person. The difference is when you receive a prophetic word from God He is telling you what He wants to say. When I am ministering in prophetic counseling He is giving me answers to what you need to know and what to do in order to receive the results you are looking for. When emailing or visiting over the phone most of the time God gives me the answers within seconds, if they are warranted questions. My understanding of this scripture below is different than what the Word of Faith movement taught me:
Matthew 18:20
“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Anytime I am with someone or chatting via email or other ways I am listening to what God has to say. The is a totally different understanding of this verse rather than what Word of Faith has been teaching over the years; “Whatever we agree upon it will come to pass” one major flaw is the one person left out of this formula, GOD!

I Want to be Your Prophetic Pastor
In the past, I spent much of my time traveling to other countries, but ministering in distant places left me drained. I have decided to hang up my traveling shoes and focus upon those families who regularly support this ministry. Receiving Your Personal Prophecy
Though a prophet may receive a monetary blessing when giving a person a word from God, he is not to be mistaken for a hireling. A prophet who is a hireling will give a false prophecy at the request of his financial provider for monetary gain.
In contrast to these false prophets, there are men of God who desire to only speak God’s words and to reveal God’s plans for the people. These men receive their spiritual blessing from God and their financial blessing from God’ people.
Old Testament Times
In the Old Testament we find that the Lord commanded Samuel, a prophet of God, to prophesy over a young man who would be coming his way around lunchtime. The Lord indicated that this young man’s name was Saul and he would be looking for his father’s lost donkeys.
As Saul and his servant wandered around looking for the lost donkeys, the servant spoke up and said, “Look now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honorable man; all that he says surely comes to pass. So let us go there; perhaps he can show us the way that we should go.”
I Samuel 9:6
Today’s Spiritual Guidance
As it was in the Old Testament it is today; it is not evil to seek a prophet for spiritual guidance or direction from God.
Then Saul said to his servant, “But look, if we go, WHAT SHALL WE BRING THE MAN? For the bread in our vessels is all gone, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”
I Samuel 9:7
Then Saul’s servant said, “Look, I have here at hand one fourth of a shekel of silver. I will give that to the man of God, to tell us our way.”
I Samuel 9:8
In this and other scriptures throughout the Bible, God has shown us that we must support his prophets. These men of old had conviction that they must bless the prophet, Samuel, for his intercession. God wants His people to be cheerful in giving.
“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
II Corinthians 9:6,7
