When your mind is racing it is almost impossible to rest in the Lord and allow Him to work out your problems. With so many challenges facing our society it is easy to understand why emotions are peaking. Spending so much time focusing on the world’s problems as well as your own leaves little time for seeking God. I find it sad that so many people spend their time praying to God, telling Him about what they are going through rather than asking Him what they should do about it.

You know He is waiting for you to give your troubles over to Him. I have said it many times that you need to cast all your cares over to Him. Some people believe that to give your troubles over to God is a cop out. However, the truth is most people do not want to give their troubles over to God because they would be giving Him control of their lives. He may change things in their lives that they do not want changed. For example, picture a family heavy in debt with a large new home, new cars, new furniture and social status equal to the Jones, but with an income incapable of sustaining their lifestyle. The fear is if they give the problem over to God He may cause them to lose all their stuff and their status to boot. The problem becomes obvious, that what your neighbors think about you is more important than what God thinks about you. It is the lack of faith (trust) in God that keeps you separated from Him. The sooner you let go and let God the sooner your life will begin to get better.

There is process for letting go of your problems. Casting your cares over to our Lord Jesus must come from the heart. Your breakthrough begins when you are totally broken and ready to give it all to God and you no longer care what He does with you. Giving your troubles over to God requires you to stop worrying about your problems. If the thoughts continue to plague you, then begin to speak to these mental voices telling them to talk to Jesus because you have given the problem over to Him. If you continue to meditate on your troubles then you are still holding on to them. Break away from your troubles, this life is too short to worry over things you cannot change.

Part 3 – Rhema Word

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
John 15:7

“If you abide in me” means to live in Christ and die to self and to do whatever Christ wants you to do. You gave him your life in exchange for eternal life. If you abide in him that means God is going to change it the way He chooses.

As for, “My words abide in you,” most people believe that the only way to hear God and to have a relationship with God is through the written word. Many of us today need answers on issues that are not found in chapter and verse. You need a “Rhema” (spoken) Word for circumstances regarding what you are dealing with today. When He speaks, by faith you receive the word then you are required to fulfill His Word. If He calls you to do a certain thing, scripture says whatever you ask you will have in His name. In other words, God will give you the Word or solution to everything you need to accomplish the task. Noah was mocked when God called on him to build the Ark on dry ground and preach the message about a coming rain, which would flood everything. But during the whole time, supernaturally, everything Noah needed to build the Ark was available. Not only that, when it was time to load the boat the animals started coming. If God wants you to do something, He is going to provide everything you need to carry out His Word.

When God says “I know your heart and your desires and I plan to grant them,” in a secret language only you and He speak, the world is a far less scary place. PTL…just sent in the signed lease for new home… God is Faithful and True, appreciate the prayers more than you can know. After a most powerful prophetic word from Bro Kent, the Lord so graciously gave me an open vision where I saw in the Spirit a sky full of the angelic host…. most beautiful white wings… literally a sky full in the heavens… all had golden tipped wings. No words just an impression that this is now the new portal to be over my head/dwelling….two days later got word that a lease was being emailed over to us. The all too familiar prophecy Jesus gave Peter solidifies the fact that Jesus did give personal prophecies. As we study the Holy Scriptures, we discover there are many times personal prophecy was administered, Nathanael under the fig tree (ref. John 1:48-51), the Thief on the Cross at Calvary (ref. Luke 23:39-43), the Woman at the well (ref. John 4:5-26), the scriptural list continues.

It is very clear that giving a prophetic word in this day and time is of the Bible. Apostle Paul goes as far as to say that out of all the spiritual gifts we should seek the gift of prophecy.

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

I still find it amazing that after all these years of ministering in personal prophecy, rejection from the church is still an obstacle of the prophetic message. In fact, the reason I preach this message is because I was told that prophesying to people was not in the Bible. I thank God for this erroneous statement being made. It helps me to be stronger and more determined to see that everyone receives the gift of prophecy.

Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies.

Hi Bro Kent,

I wanted to write and thank you for the prophecy you sent to me back on 31st March. I thought you would also appreciate some feedback as well. In one part you spoke of travelling, going various places. Many years ago I received similar words about speaking to nations and reaching far in many places. You said you are one who likes to dabble in different things. I sometimes jokingly say to my friends that I have served in every church department except the Ladies meetings. I have also been involved in community and political things as well over the years.

You also said you wonder how can it be that I could be in such a situation that I can be taken care of by simply doing the things I love. At the end of last year I found myself in 3 part time jobs, all things that I had dreamed of doing or had an interest in over the years. I can’t support my family from these jobs (my wife works full time and her job pays well) but again I was saying to my friends who would have thought I would end up doing the things I have often thought about? And who would have thought it would work out the way that it did?

So thank you again, I appreciate your time and input.

From the Old Testament we read where Elisha asked for a Double Portion of the anointing of Elijah and the anointing was passed over to Elisha. This power was give through prophecy and the passing of the mantel of Elijah.

We today also have the opportunity to receive a Double Portion from our Lord Jesus. To believe Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for our sins saves you from eternal damnation. However, the baptism of Jesus will give you power to overcome sin and spiritual gifts to demonstrate Jesus power that is living within you. Now is the time for all to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Things that you do out of your emotions might seem to be a good thing but to God it is dead works. For example; you may think it is a good thing to give money to someone who is having a hard time. By doing what you think can anger God sometimes because you get in His way. God may have been trying to teach that person how to walk by faith but you came along delaying the lesson. You must pray, hear and obey. It is important to know God’s way and His will in all things.

I wanted to tell you the word you sent for Brittney was so perfect! She was accepted to the college of choice and she has experienced much favor there. Please pray for her there has been an attack on her body, her lymph node on one upper thigh is giving her pain. The college she will be going to is military so she has to be in top shape and without pain. We will be going back to the doctor tomorrow but I know that my God has healed her!

Received My Prophecy,

I do have a testimony in even this very short time of just a few days now:

The Lord gave my son a job-interview the same day you said you have intervened (a prayer from my heart seeing his own depression about this since many months); the Lord even brought a person who brought a cheap car from Germany to be mine (Hallelujah! A car is a car, but now I need no bank-loan to finance it or pay it back again as this was granted the same day! Hallelujah again!), no, this was not all!

The same day, the person who helped with the car (surprisingly) told me to go and let my old car check again, for they might have made a mistake diagnosing an engine break. It stood in the garage and I was not driving anymore but asked the Lord “please what should I do with it, it’s an old car, and I thought I can sell it at least to have a payment rest for the next used car”. Well! The diagnosis was wrong! Now the car is not only being sold by another owner of a garage, he even told me to wait a few days and he will see what price he will get for me, he pays me the money and the car is gone.

It is time to call out the Prophetic Posse, God’s prophet’s and prophetess who are committed to seek God for a word for those who are needing to know what the future holds for them. This could be the beginning of the vision I received in the early in 1993.

The vision revealed many prophetic people who were in one location. In the vision I entered this round building and I saw a large circular entry hall that made a complete circle around a large room with a very high ceiling. As I walked around the hall I noticed pairs of shoes around the interior wall. Every few yards there were a set of double doors each door had a small window. Hearing praise music and people praying I walked up to one of the doors and looked through the small window. Looking inside the sanctuary I noticed a round stage in the middle of the room with musical instruments and microphones all on the stage. Hanging above the stage were a set of flat screen monitors with short videos and pictures coming up on each screen. One picture was of a young girl 5 years old who was listed as being abducted. Another screen showed a picture of a business that was in danger of going under in need of direction. Standing around the stage a number of people were looking up at the various screens praying. Every so often one or two ministers would go to a small booth connected to the interior circular wall. Then they would pickup a telephone or begin to type on the key board. I noticed that the carpet was like angels hair long and flowing the people seem to float across the floor as they moved back and forth from the stage to their designated booth.

When I came out of the vision I asked God what is this place and what is happening. Like a flood understanding began to fill me with what it was all about and what an impact it was having on the world. In the past couple of years God has been telling me that when I turn 60 the ministry would explode. I knew by His Word that He was preparing me for something very big. Could it be that my birthday, this coming September, will be the start of the manifestation of this vision? One thing I do know, there are many who are either moving to Texas or making plans to relocate to this area as soon as possible. Your thoughts and comments are welcomed.

Received My Prophecy;

Yes the Bible commands wives to submit to their husbands. Take notice, the one who is to submit truly is the one who is in control. It is impossible to make your wife submit if you have not won her confidence and respect. The game is up if she chooses NOT to submit thus leaving the husband barking in the wind. Oh yes, the Man is the appointed head of the household but being the head does put him in control. For the wife is like the neck and she has the power to turn the head whichever way she so chooses. Behind every good man is a great woman. To all the mothers we salute you and thank you for bringing life and order to an otherwise dead and chaotic world.

I know that the present day looks very hard and sometimes unbearable; however, there is a reward awaiting those who endure. We should not count our suffering as punishment but rather part of our Heavenly Father’s boot camp preparing us for tomorrow. Every good earthly father will allow there children to experience life’s difficult times as part of growing up. Even as adults God sees us as His children and will continue to shape us through trials and tribulations; until we have come to the level of maturity warranted for receiving His greatest blessing. His promise is real and worth more the wait.

There are many baptisms found in the Holy Bible but there is one very special baptism that is needed now more than ever. To be baptized in water is the baptism of John for the remission of our sins. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the baptism of Jesus that we may have power.

Dear Prophet Kent,

I had to take a moment to share with you how much I appreciated you taking the time to seek the Lord on our behalf. As I mentioned, I’m a single mom with 5 children at home. I have 6 children, but the oldest is grown. I work full time and as you may be able to guess, it’s busy, busy, and busy around here ALL the time. This morning, the Lord prompted me to respond.

There are some significant details I would love to share with you about how right on this word was for me, for us, but for times sake I will omit most of them. Let it suffice to say, I have met the man God has called me to join and we’ve been in relationship for over a year. God has supernaturally confirmed it over and over. We’ve been seeking Him on the timing (for many reasons too lengthy to mention – practical every-day life things). So the word you shared was right on!

I’m quite certain you’ve heard multitudes of times how right on the word you received for them was, but YES, thank you – the word you received for us was/is a RIGHT on word.

It didn’t really occur to me until about half way through listening to it what a personal price you may have paid to bring forth this word. With your own loss so fresh, it made my heart ache for your family afresh. Please know that you and your daughter have been and will continue to be in our prayers.

When you receive a prophecy, there is one thing that will happen. God will allow you to be tested and tempted to see if you will waiver in believing in His word. God will even allow someone to come into your life offering you a great position although you know it does not line up with what God has for you. If you sell out, you will lose your blessing. You must always be sure that every decision you make lines up with His word of prophecy to you. If you do this, you will be in position to receive what God has promised you through His word.

Everything David did was weighed by what God had said to him through his word of prophecy. The promise David received through Samuel the prophet was that he would become king. When David received the word he was just a shepherd boy. David waited twenty years to become king. But during those twenty years, David never forgot God’s word that he would become king. Many things happened to David which tested him. He was tested to see if he would do things according to the ways of God, according to the Scriptures. When David stood with a sword over King Saul, he could have killed King Saul and taken over Saul’s army and become king. But David knew not to go against God’s prophets or touch His anointed. (Ref. Psalms 105:15)

Although King Saul was not an obedient servant of the Lord, Saul was anointed by Samuel the Prophet to be king and he had the gift of prophecy. David did not rush things or do anything that would negate God’s promise or go against His Holy Scriptures. He did not want to force the promise within his prophecy to come to pass by killing Saul. Faith without manifestation becomes dull very fast; however, we are going from faith to faith. Now that you believe what is written, let us go on to what is spoken. Although believing the spoken word without proper and careful judgment can become treacherous territory. You cannot walk away from scripture just because you hear from God or you will mess up big time! The Holy Scriptures are our “tuning fork”; we must stay true to the written word in order to properly judge prophecy. There are many voices and spirits speaking in the spirit world; we need to properly discern each word of prophecy.

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
